Below is a live list of beers that we currently have in stock in St Albans. If you'd like to reserve a specific beer for collection, then please call 01727 842598 and we'll be happy to put it behind the counter for you to come by and pick up.

Our shops have a range of taps with continually changing cask and keg beer to drink in, or take home in 1 or 2 litre sizes and occasionally 500ml bottles. We fill one-way disposable containers (included in the prices below) or reusable growlers, both available in store. Tap take home beer is best enjoyed as fresh as possible, ideally within 2-3 days.

High & Dry

Pentrich Brewing Co.

From Pentrich:

A heavily hopped and naturally hazy pale ale packed full of quite possibly our favourite trio in Citra, Nectaron and Nelson Sauvin. Expect huge tropical and citrus flavours of pineapple, mango & pomelo, alongside a touch of dank pine notes.

Pale Ale Citra

The Kernel Brewery

From Kernel:

5-6% abv. Malted barley. Dry and light-bodied to better showcase the individuality of the hops in both aroma and flavour. A basic recipe is followed, with each batch utilising different hop varieties from around the world based on seasonality, availability, and the whims of the brewer.

Lady Chatterley's Westie

Pretty Decent Beer Co

From Pretty Decent:

It’s the beer they didn’t want you to drink.

We looove New Zealand hops so we’ve loaded this one up with Nelson Sauvin and Motueka to bring in those juicy, tropical flavours you’ll recognise from our hazy pales and IPAs - while still keeping that fresh West Coast crispness. A modern edition of a classic, if you will.

Hops: Motueka, Nelson Sauvin

x Cantillon Biere De Coupage

Brasserie Dupont

From  :  Brasserie de la Senne

This beer—created for the 25th birthday of Cantillon’s Quintessence—uses an ancient and typically Belgian technique called ‘coupage’: the blend of a sour beer with a young ale. The sour beer we used is 2-year-old Lambic from Cantillon. The result is a 6.2% abv amber beer, with an appealing tartness and a deep, complex vinous character.

Habit Flower

Polly's Brew Co

From Polly's:

We’ve been pretty taken by everyone’s favourite hype hop Nectaron since it first arrived here at Polly’s HQ. Arguably the most difficult hop variety to get access to in the world at the moment on the back of its high demand and it backs it up – we’re suckers for the intense levels of pineapple and passion fruit it brings to a beer, as well as accentuating the brighter characteristics of other hops. Why not, we thought in that case, pair it up with a couple of bonafide Polly’s classics in Galaxy and Citra in that case? Accentuating and elevating those incredible peach and fresh cut citrus fruit notes in these Australian and Stateside hops respectively, there’s no other beer style we could think to put this in than one of the bold, brash, flavour packed IPAs that put us on the map in the first place.

Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier

Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan

From Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan:

Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-pored white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. To be enjoyed at any time (always a pleasure / enjoyment), goes excellently with fish and seafood, with spicy cheese and especially with the traditional Bavarian veal sausage. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.
