Chubbles Cask

Your Week in Brews

CASK release of Chubbles 53° North
The newest addition to the yearly Cloudwater & The Veil brewing collaboration.
We've tried it in can, and on keg, but over the weekend beginning Friday 8th April we'll be pouring this 7% DDH IPA in all it's ultra fresh & juicy glory from CASKS at both Hitchin & St Albans simultaneously!
These casks will be better fresh and aren't likely to last long regardless... If you want some, make sure to pitch up early!
The passionately experimental Holy Goat Brewing, now Dundee's well established answer to another wave of revival for all things mixed-ferm have dropped a trio of new releases:
Export Stout 1897 - 7.5% all British ingredient historic & unadulterated stout
Unicornicopia - 6% sour golden ale transferred onto leftover peaches & Unicorn Wizard lees with additonal passionfruit & mango
Blood Witch - 7.2% initially bretted & blended oud bruin refermented on strawberries
Pastore Brewing & Blending have lined our fridges once more, this time with four fresh fruit-forward sour beers from the other brewery notoriously championing horned quadrupeds:
Pastore Margarita All'ananas - 7% pineapple margarita gose
Pastore Galassia Della Pesca - 6% sour IPA with peach
Pastore Mango & Passion Fruit Waterbeach Weisse - 3.8% sessionable fruited berliner
Pastore Il Crumble Rhubarb Orange Ginger - 6% fruit crumble sour with rhubarb, orange, ginger, honeycomb & vanilla

We've also got ample supplies of Swedish beer from a couple of the most internationally renowned Scandi brewers, Stigbergets Bryggeri & industrial cuckoo outfit Omnipollo...

Check the stock out below if you're into ridiculously rich dessert like stouts, premium hazy bois, thick & zingy sours, and a little of a hearkening back to the old school years of craft.

Once again, we've received bottles of traditional German lagers and weißbier. Whilst we may now be familiar with the breweries, we can't say that we've yet encountered these bottles. In any case, Spring is here, why not take an explorative leap towards finding your next favourite (and fairly exclusive) Bavarian tipple?

And then there's the exact opposite courtesy of craft beer enthusiasts Georg & Lukasz of Fuerst Wiacek making a markedly craft oriented offering of beer from Berlin.

Hop Harvest is one of many beers that has seen involvement of Yakima Chief Hops in picking out particularly desirable hop crops to complement a specific recipe - in this case riffing off a particularly citrussy and sweet crop of Citra.

Fuerst Wiacek's other recent beers are all of a hoppy and collaborative nature too - check out Cross Trainer, Futuristic Technologies & No Fun

Our final highlight that's been on pre-order for a hot minute,

F**K Cancer Beer Project is an initiative based in the UK (fronted by The Bearded Beer Baron) that involves breweries in fundraising efforts for cancer charities. Things have now gone international however - in part because cancer sucks for everybody everywhere, but also because the absolute best beer should be employed for the cause!

Four internationally renowned American breweries have brewed up frivolous and somewhat absurd pastry sours to raise money for cancer research.
