We’re excited to announce the launch of our 3rd location in the town of Bishop’s Stortford, East Hertfordshire on the border with Essex. We have the green light and have now started the shop-fit for our grandest project to date!
This site will be our new Bottle Shop, Tap Room, Brewery and Blendery. We've spent a long time planning the next phase for our ongoing project with Bubble Works Brew Co and have finally found a suitable home to set up a permanent brew kit. This is exciting news for all of our shops, as it means a permanent presence of our own Bubble Works beers on tap at all our shops!
We'll be bringing our existing concept of a bottle shop and tap room, where people can pop in for a drink, or take-away to enjoy at home. You'll find our usual extensive range of specialty beers, alongside our growing range of natty wines, ciders and spirits.
We're going big and installing a 20 tap bar dispensing our carefully curated lineup, plus the odd cocktail, soda or cider. As with our existing shops these drinks are served for drinking in or growlers for take-away.
All our beers will be 100% cold stored 🥶 for that extra quality assurance. We're installing a 10 meter long refrigerated display wall for all our small pack, plus a 4°C cold store in the cellar! #STORECOLD #DRINKFRESH
The pièce de résistance of this location is the large warehouse space at the rear. We're knocking through the back wall to create an open plan space, allowing the shop to lead through to the brewery, blendery and seating area. This is our homage to all the wonderful brewery tap rooms we've visited over the years.
We're dividing up this warehouse space so we can house our new modest 400 litre brew kit and barrel rack for our ageing program.
We'll be brewing fresh beers in kegs for sending out to our shops, then other wild, dark and funky things for filling the barrels to age and blend.

It looks great! Really excited for you to open in Bishop’s Stortford. I have been to the one in Hitchin and loved the very and board games vibe. I think like Hitchin you will have a great market for the Beer Shop here. Good luck!
